Thurles Shooting Grounds is the premier shooting venue in Munster. Situated on the main Dublin Cork road the extensive grounds is the ideal site for a competitive shoot or an opportunity to try the sport of clay pigeon shooting. We have and array of clay pigeon traps, both fixed and mobile, which allow the presentation of a wide variety of targets – challenging targets for the experienced shot and easier targets for the novice.
A qualified CPSA instructor is usually at hand and club members have a wealth of experience between them. Several international shots use the grounds and are always willing to provide a little sound advice and make the beginner feel welcome.

Covered stands allow shooting even in the most adverse conditions. Shooting takes place under lights during the Winter months. A spacious and warm club-house is available for a cup of tea and a chat while shooting is in progress. There is ample car-parking space and toilet facilities.
